So I was looking back at my old stuff...and was very unhappy with how plain my old princess pirates picture looked.
And I recently received a wonderful set of watercolors from my ma for my birthday (I'M 18!! WHOO!) So, I decided to use my new watercolors and redo an old picture. My first try with watercolors...hope I did well...If anyone out there has any tips for me concerning watercolors, I'd love/be grateful to hear them!  So, anyway, like in my old picture, I gave them weapons relating to their story. So, Sleepy Beauty gets a sleeping potion thing that she blows in people's faces. As she's doing in the pic. Hahaha. And Snow White has her apple bombs, with little teeny mini ones now!! Ariel and Jasmine get boring swords. Heehee. Although Ariel is Captain, because she's my fave princess, and because, being a mermaid and all, she is stronger in the sea. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.  reports, 1d 19h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
